Angela T. Griffin


Angela was born and raised in New York City. She moved to the Pickens County area in the fall of 2011. Since her moving into the area she has been an active member of Arise From The Ashes, Community Development Corporation, Inc. (AFTA, CDC) and has attained a degree in Criminal Justice. While earning her degree Angela has received Outstanding Student Achievement Award, President’s List, National Honor Society, and graduated Cum Laude. She is involved with her community. She organized a summer reading program to keep youth actively and creatively involved in reading and writing during the summer months. She hosted several youth workshops where she encouraged youth to express themselves through artistic expression while building their self-esteem. Angela enjoys creatively engaging people of the community, particularly youth through writing, drama, and workshops. She feels that by contributing in community-related activities she is setting a positive model for the youth of the community and abroad. Dedicating her life to making a positive difference in the lives of youth and community are tremendously important to Angela.

Monique is a mother of three.  She is the CEO of a lucrative contracting company; while working weekdays at a prominent law firm. She understands the value of child cultivation.  Monique embodies dedication and firmly believes in providing training and employment to women and Ex-offenders in her community.  Her company emphasizes the value of a unified community.  She and her children can often be found fulfilling volunteer hours with employees.

A native of Pickens. Alexander became interested in giving back what had been given to her. As her family placed positivity, good morals, and values into her, she wanted to do the same for others who may not have been given those necessities. From this she began involving herself in different community projects. She served as Community Liaison and Special Projects Coordinator with Arise from The Ashes, CDC. She continues doing what she loves most; advocating for those who may not have a voice. Her passion is women, youth, and elderly. Most of all she loves working with youth.

Allison recently moved to Easley South Carolina from Victor, Montana where she cared for her mother for the past 2 years.  She also lived in Springfield, Oregon.  She is a mother of three and a Grandmother of one incredible grand-daughter Stephanie.  She lives to bring happiness, beauty and passion to others.  Allison makes every effort to bring to surface the Best version of you that you can possibly be!

Samantha Hunter

She is a Registered Medical Assistant currently pursuing her Nursing Degree.  She was crowned Miss Upstate for the Miss Black South Carolina Pageant in 2016.  Samantha believes that every individual should be given the opportunity to nurture the gifts and talents God has given them. She believes that when those gifts and talents are nurtured and perfected, purpose and ambition is birthed.

He is a native of Easley. He attended Easley High School and after graduation, he attended Coastal Carolina University where he earned his Bachelors of Art in Political Science and minored in Middle Eastern Studies. Oscar is passionate about uplifting his community and abroad he strives to bring to the surface the Best version of You!   Oscar's favorite quote is by a philosopher (Lao Tzu) "Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom, mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is True Power."
